10/31 3 #S of worms

received my 3 pounds of worms from Jerry Gach the worm dude  today
all worms came in alive and well packed
gave them a sprinkle bath to rehydrate them with a spray bottle
put them all in the 55 gal flow thru which will be easier for now till they multiply

10/28 new demo bin

put away the pretzel bin for now and made the demo bin from pretzel bin
didn't look like many worms in there but just dumped it in the other bin
was quite a few in the coffee grounds

10/27 fed bins

gave the blue bin lots of potato peels and radish tops and 2 burger buns crushed up
the stackable received a few banana peels
and the juvi bin the lettuce scraps

haven't seen any hummers since around oct 25th,,but did give some new water out there if any do come thru
were 2 male hummers the same anna and a juvi with a patch on the throat and red sides about halfway up its neck

10/23 fed flow thru and blue bin

gave the flow thru a few more banana peels and the corn stalks & cobs
gave the blue bin a few banana peels and stirred it up,,lots of babies and juvis and a couple adults

10/22 leaves and birds

gave leaves and cardboard to the stackable
gave leaves to the isopod bin
and 3 hummers are showing up now
a juvi anna with just red on the sides of his head and a patch on its neck
the regular male anna and poss a female

10/20 fed bins

gave the juvi bin the lettuce mix
gave banana peels to the stackable and flow thru

10/16 watered blue bin - moved adults

gave almost a gallon of water to the blue bin
no adults seen yet but there was a almost hatched cocoon on the corn cob

moved more adults over to the stackable

10/15 split stackable

moved the worms over to the juvi bin and kept most adults in the stackable
found an escapee in the flow thru in the bottom

10/13 made flow thru

made the flow thru and put in the worms from the juvi bin in there

10/11 fed pretzel bin

fed the pretzel bin the lettuce mix

10/7 fed blue bin

fed the blue bin some bread

10/4 fed pretzel bin

fed the pretzel bin 2 banana peels
the male anna has still been showing up plus 1-2 females

9/29 isopod bin mixed -- fed stackable

mixed up the isopod bin,,most leaves looked like mud and very wet
gave them more coffee grounds

still watermelon left,,waiting for that to finish before giving them the apple mix

still 2 hummers left
a male anna and a female

fed the stackable about 2-3 pounds of the apple mix that had a good layer of mold on top

9/23 fed stackable lettuce

gave the stackable lettuce,,worms were still in the watermelon

9/21 pretzel bin

moved most of the contents to the blue bin
found 75 out of the 80 worms started with

hundreds of babies and a few juvis in there

very few cocoons seen

made the bin again with cardboard,egg crate and coffee grounds
gave the bin 6-8 pieces of moldy bread throughout the bin 

only 2-3 hummers hanging around

9/19 split stackable

split half the stackable to the juvi bin
cut up the watermelon for them to eat it faster
did see babys feeding off the watermelon already

9/18 fed stackable

fed half a watermelon to stackable

cut up apples cole slaw  blueberries carrots celery for the next feeding

9/14 fed blue bin - new coffee grounds

gave coffee grounds to the blue bin,,saw very few worms in it

gave a piece of carrot pancake to the stackable

9/13 2nd feeder bread stackable

gave 1 peice of bread to the stackable

and put up the 2nd feeder out back

9/12 fed stackable

lots of sprouts from the cantaloupe left over in the bin

gave a good clump of coffee in it

lots of cocoons thru the bin

no maggots were seen and no broccoli left and no plum

gave the pretzel bin some water and poked around some,,most worms were down in the bin a few small babys in there

isopod bin seems well,,seen babys in there and some on the coffee
